Panama has enacted total quarantine with movement restrictions beginning Wednesday, April 1st, 2020. Under the new restrictions due to COVID-19 in Panama, women will be able to circulate Monday, Wednesday and Friday and men Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, this new restriction also include the previous limitation of two hours of circulation per day per person based on the last number of their national ID “Cedula” or passport if the person is a foreigner. The measure does not apply to workers from certain businesses deemed as essential.
